The world of country entertainment has gotten a lot of attention recently due to the popularity of Taylor Sheridan's Yellowstone and 1883. The dramatics of the wild west continue as it takes on an exciting new turn into the rugged lands of West Texas this November. Fans have been anxiously awaiting the return of the show since its departure in 2022. November 10 will be marked on several people's calendar for the premier of what has been rumored as the final season.

Co-creator of the hit series Yellowstone, Taylor Sheridan is on a roll with his entertainment repertoire, with his latest project developed with "Boomtown" podcast host Christian Wallace coming to Paramount+ in a few weeks. The second trailer for the series was released this week and promises to be a nail biting story.

Landman, a modern western tale of the life and struggles of fortune seekers in the oil industry, is based on the previously mentioned podcast, "Boomtown." The podcast is a documentary style audio medium that uncovers the hidden aspects of the oil economy and the lengths people are willing to go to get a piece of the latest gold rush action.

Actor, director and musician, Billy Bob Thornton is set to take center stage as the main character for the series following the legacy of Tommy Norris, a man trying to obtain financial security for his family. Facing corporate giants, Norris works to save his opportunity to strike a fortune while also working through personal struggles.

Thornton is joined by a myriad of talented actors and actresses including Jon Hamm (Mad Men) and Demi Moore (Ghost). The pair portray Monty and Cami Miller, a majorly influential couple in the oil industry, who are close friends with the main character, Tommy and his ex-wife Angela, who is played by Ali Larter (Varsity Blues).

The cast also includes Jacob Lofland, who plays Tommy's son, Michelle Randolph as Tommy's daughter, Michael Peña, Andy Garcia, Kayla Wallace, Mark Collie and Paulina Chàvez.

The popularity of Yellowstone and its prequel series' 1883 and 1923 is paving the way for Landman and this second trailer to the series brings a gritty excitment to the lives of western drama lovers.

After fans renew their love for Taylor Sheridan and Yellowstone on November 10, they can look forward to the first two episodes of Landman airing on Sunday, November 17 on Paramount+.
