The massively popular Yellowstone will be back on air November 10. Some people have lost interest after the show just disappeared after the final season premiered in November of 2022. Others have been anxiously awaiting the return of their favorite characters.

If you are one that loved the show, you need to tune into the new Netflix series, 'Territory'. Set in Australia, the largest cattle station runs into trouble around every corner.

A death in the family sends everyone reeling. From the immediate family to competing cattle stations, everyone seems to be coming for the Marianne Station.

The center theme of the show revolves around the Lawson family who have enough problems to keep you entertained just within their own stories. When family strife and generational bonds start to tear the family down, the vultures of the show - gangsters, billionaire miners, competing cattle barons, and even family members - move in to try to take them down.

The show stars Anna Torv as Emily Lawson, Michael Dorman as Graham Lawson, Robert Taylor as Colin Lawson and Sam Corlett as Marshall Lawson.

Fans will recognize Robert Taylor from the hit show Longmire.

The series is set in Australia and was filmed on location across the Northern Territory and South Australia. These specific parts of the Australian outback are extremely remote.

When you notice that travel is often by helicopter on the show, that holds true to the real life travel for Australians in this part of the country. The land is so large and undeveloped that helicopter travel is necessary.

Some of the terms used in the show will be a bit unfamiliar to viewers.

  • Cattle Station - Simply this is a cattle ranch but contrary to United States cattle ranches, this is a massive operation. The owner, or person in charge is known as the grazier. Most of the true Australian cattle stations are government leases.
  • Muster - This comes up early on in the show and causes quite a bit of drama. A muster is simply just rounding up cattle or sheep. In the case of the show, the Lawson's conduct a muster in order to facilitate a sale of some of the livestock.

Viewers will be immediately drawn into the drama and action of the show. There are six episodes available now on Netflix. After watching the entire series, this is bound to be a hit and leave you wanting more.
