His role in Selma earned Oyelowo an NCAAP Image Award winner for Outstanding Actor in a Motion Picture as well as a Golden Globe nomination and Critics’ Choice Movie Award for Best Actor. Oyelowo was also appointed as an officier of the Order of the British Empire. Taylor Sheridan has always known how to pick the best of the best for all his series. He is already flying high over the success of 1923 with Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford leading the way. Oyelowo will also be executive producing the project.
